Mckinseyquarterly.com recently published an article on the growing trend to recruit employees via social network sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn: When job seekers invade Facebook.
– Do you think that recruitments will increasingly be done via social media in the future?
– Some observers feel that the growing use of social media is reducing the added value of HR communications agencies (since organisations can themselves control the recruitment process). Agree or disagree?
– And finally: Can social media replace the traditional recruitment media – and jobsites in particular? (+ if you are a recruitment medium: what initiatives has your organisation taken (or is considering) to find an answer to the social media phenomenon, and to enable you to serve your clients even better/more efficiently in the future – keeping in mind the price/results ratio as well?)
